How To: Set up a local server for private play
The following post provides instructions for running a local serve-and-play instance of America's Army and is intended for people who wish to test new maps without having to find a server online.

Welcome, we're a community here to help keep AA2 alive and promote the user created custom maps. Download a few maps and check them out, add your feedback and help shape the maps and rate them for other players. If your new to custom maps or introducing your friends to this creative world, have a read of the How To: Join a custom map server, there is a step by step guide and a short video guide that may help them join servers. Feel free to share the link with them.
