Anyone got any idea why sledgehammer_se won't play in authorised mode anymore?

I've messed and messed with the tours.ini to no avail. Seems to me like it's something they've done at their end....?

Also, is it possible to switch a server from authorised to unauthorised? been having trouble when switching maps from one to the other. End up with offical maps playing in unauthorised mode. A server restart and map switch seems to sort that out but it's annoying and a little time consuming..perhaps it's my server providers inadequacy..

Yes... this happened a few patches ago. I noticed it first with SF Redemption. Basically it looks like AA have disconnected the mission capable system or broken something else.

I did alot of testing at the time with ini files and tours configs but never got around it.

Its more than sledgehammer I think you'll find most of those old ones that allowed auth mode and showed in the AA Browser no longer do.

Sfredemption does show in the browser still. Aswell as prison stryke, sledgehammer(original) sf cote center, pball probably some others if they were hosted..... just not sledgehammer_se. It's like they've decided that particular version isn't authorised anymore and/or broken it.

It's really weird because if I'm on, say, sledgehammer (authorised original version) and I want to change to sledgehammer_se I have to first switch to a different unauthorised map (to get the server into unauthorised mode) and then switch to sledge_se. It simply wont go to sledge_se without doing that first (hence the question about if it's possible to switch server authentication)

Bloody annoying and can't get an answer on the official forums.

And yeah TT, I do remember vaguely when no authorised maps would show at all but they did fix it, but I guess didn't do a proper job.

Ah ok, so they have fixed that problem up .

I really did give up on it at the time, never expected a fix.

With the switch between modes, I experience problems when moving between auth and un-auth. Again I did a fair amount of testing and ended up running Auth and Un-Auth maps on different servers, Server 1 was the Auth server and un-auth only on Server 2.

A two server setup doesn't help when you want to switch like you are.
